Well known, high end luxury line looking for an intern to start Monday June 22, 2009 in the PR and marketing department.
As a PR and Marketing Intern you will assist in the planning and execution of company events and press activity, including, but not limited to: fulfilling sample requests, look book production and distribution, upkeep of press books, and press kit development.
Ideally we are looking for someone who can come in at least 4 days a week. Interns are provided with daily stipend $30 which includes lunch and transportation allowance.

Tasks Include:

Help update website information
Complete a list of guests by calling each store/editor, etc to update our database
Mail out/deliver fashion show invitations
Check off rsvp list and update daily before the show
Help organize an in-store event with key retailers in and around LA
Develop press kits and any other press materials working with a graphic/creative intern
Note: This internship is unpaid but a fantastic experience with one-on-one mentoring and a nice boss
