Fashion Week Spring 2010 the Ma Frangine angle

I feel so honored I was invited to the Art Academy University Fashion Week show, the talent of these MFA graduates is out of this world. The technical skills and creativity was pumped way high, I loved every collection showed Saturday afternoon. I can't wait to be able to go the store and buy their lovely designs.I wanted to share some photos from my point and shoot so you would be able to see some photos that you may not be able to see elsewhere. Flying out today to New York Fashion Week, so exciting... I decided to post about Prabal Gurun's RTW Spring 2010 collection.

I love these shoes by Omelle, the pockets are great for carrying your id,keys and cash and plastic when you are going out and do not want to carry a purse.

The September Issue

I was lucky enough to attend the screening of The September Issue, the much buzzed about documentary directed by RJ Cutler about Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour's preparations for the 2007 fall-fashion issue.I enjoyed this documentary and I think anyone who has interest in fashion or working for a fashion magazine should see this film. I really like how RJ Cutler showed Anna's fun and playful side.

I love all the black in the Frei Designs Fall 2009 collection. I am really loving the tuxedo pants so hot... For those of you who are not familiar with this label, they use 80% organic textiles, low-impact or no-impact dying and all their workers receive a fair and living wage.
